Fall Protection Awareness Online Training
Description
As of April 1, 2015 the Ministry of Labour for Ontario has implemented new training regulations pertaining to Fall Arrest Protection training. The new training is called "Working at Heights" and is classroom only training, led by a certified provider. The Ministry of Labour for Ontario can provide the list of providers. There is a 2 year implementation period for workers to complete this training (April 1, 2017)
Online certificates for Fall Arrest Protection training will still be accepted by employers during this 2 year period, keeping in mind that additional training may be required.
This course will guide you through all aspects of Fall Arrest, the different types of Fall Protection, calculating fall clearance and proper use of PPEs. This is an engaging course that will test your knowledge retention after each module. This course is required by many industries, your employer can tell you if you need Fall Arrest Protection Training. After completion of this course you will be issued a certificate of completion. You will then do onsite training with your employer to meet Occupational Health and Safety Regulations requirements.

Who Needs Fall Arrest Protection Training?
Any individual who is required to working at a height of more than 3 metres, including but not limited to the following industries:
- Forestry
- Construction
- Commercial Window Washers
- Electrical Workers
- Construction
